Document Management
Sharepoint’s strongest feature brings new order to chaos with existing filesharing applications. Using the “metadata” concept, sharepoint allows documents to be tagged and categorised (documents types, departments, review dates etc) in any grouping structure which eliminates endless hierachies of files and folders. Using existing search capabilities, documents can be indexed and found as quickly as they are ordered, or stored locally once synchronised to Microsoft Outlook 2007.
